  19.           VendorShell is a Motif widget class used as a supporting
  20.           superclass for all shell classes that are visible to the
  21.           window manager and that are not override redirect.  It
  22.           contains resources that describe the MWM-specific look and
  23.           feel.  It also manages the MWM-specific communication needed
  24.           by all VendorShell subclasses.  See the mmmmwwwwmmmm reference page
  25.           for more information.
  26.
  27.           If an application uses the XXXXmmmmNNNNmmmmwwwwmmmmDDDDeeeeccccoooorrrraaaattttiiiioooonnnnssss,
  28.           XXXXmmmmNNNNmmmmwwwwmmmmFFFFuuuunnnnccccttttiiiioooonnnnssss, or XXXXmmmmNNNNmmmmwwwwmmmmIIIInnnnppppuuuuttttMMMMooooddddeeee resource, it should
  29.           include the file XXXXmmmm////MMMMwwwwmmmmUUUUttttiiiillll....hhhh.
  30.
  31.           Setting XXXXmmmmNNNNhhhheeeeiiiigggghhhhtttt, XXXXmmmmNNNNwwwwiiiiddddtttthhhh, or XXXXmmmmNNNNbbbboooorrrrddddeeeerrrrWWWWiiiiddddtttthhhh for either a
  32.           VendorShell or its managed child usually sets that resource
  33.           to the same value in both the parent and the child. When an
  34.           off-the-spot input method exists, the height and width of
  35.           the shell may be greater than those of the managed child in
  36.           order to accommodate the input method.  In this case,
  37.           setting XXXXmmmmNNNNhhhheeeeiiiigggghhhhtttt or XXXXmmmmNNNNwwwwiiiiddddtttthhhh for the shell does not
  38.           necessarily set that resource to the same value in the
  39.           managed child, and setting XXXXmmmmNNNNhhhheeeeiiiigggghhhhtttt or XXXXmmmmNNNNwwwwiiiiddddtttthhhhfor the
  40.           child does not necessarily set that resource to the same
  41.           value in the shell.
  42.
  43.           For the managed child of a VendorShell, regardless of the
  44.           value of the shell's XXXXmmmmNNNNaaaalllllllloooowwwwSSSShhhheeeellllllllRRRReeeessssiiiizzzzeeee, setting XXXXmmmmNNNNxxxx or
  45.           XXXXmmmmNNNNyyyy sets the corresponding resource of the parent but does
  46.           not change the child's position relative to the parent.
  47.           XXXXttttGGGGeeeettttVVVVaaaalllluuuueeeessss for the child's XXXXmmmmNNNNxxxx or XXXXmmmmNNNNyyyy yields the value of
  48.           the corresponding resource in the parent.  The x and y-
  49.           coordinates of the child's upper left outside corner
  50.           relative to the parent's upper left inside corner are both 0
  51.           (zero) minus the value of XXXXmmmmNNNNbbbboooorrrrddddeeeerrrrWWWWiiiiddddtttthhhh.
  52.
  53.           Note that the _I_n_t_e_r-_C_l_i_e_n_t _C_o_m_m_u_n_i_c_a_t_i_o_n _C_o_n_v_e_n_t_i_o_n_s _M_a_n_u_a_l
  54.           (ICCCM) allows a window manager to change or control the
  55.           border width of a reparented top-level window.
  56.
  57.           VendorShell holds the _X_m_Q_T_s_p_e_c_i_f_y_R_e_n_d_e_r_T_a_b_l_e trait.
